Here, you can immerse yourself in the charm of this town in Veneto, rich in history and culture, and famous for its significant gastronomy and wine tradition. You can explore the picturesque historic center of the town, be enchanted by the beauty of the zoological park, and enjoy local culinary delights such as Amarone della Valpolicella, accompanied by traditional dishes.

Day 2: Bussolengo - Salò

(approx. 78 km)

Your adventure begins with leaving Bussolengo heading south towards Valeggio sul Mincio. The route takes you through the charming countryside to Desenzano del Garda. From here, you will be accompanied by the panorama of Lake Garda until your destination for the day: Salò, famous for its picturesque lakeshore, historic buildings, and cultural charme.

Day 3 : Salò - Tignale - Vesio

(approx. 22 km or 62 km)

From Salò, a minibus transfer will take you to Tignale, a picturesque village surrounded by nature. Here you will have the opportunity to visit the famous Santuario della Madonna di Montecastello, a true gem perched on a promontory offering breathtaking views of Lake Garda and the valley below. Afterwards, you will continue your journey towards Vesio, a picturesque village nestled in the mountains surrounding the lake. Vesio has a deep connection to the history of the First World War: due to its strategic location, it was a crucial point in the Italian defence during the conflict. Its dominant position above the Lake Garda area made it an important military post and testifies to the significant role it played in the country‘s history. From Vesio, you have the opportunity to take a fascinating round trip that takes you to Passo Nota and back along the historic military road of the First World War

Day 4: Vesio - Malcesine

(approx. 46 km or 28 km + boat)

Today‘s route begins in Vesio, crosses the Passo Nota, and then follows the road that runs along the lake. From here, it continues along the picturesque Ponale Giacomo Cis panoramic trail, which leads to Riva del Garda. From Riva, the trail continues along the lake shore, offering extraordinary landscapes and breathtaking views until it reaches Malcesine, with its imposing medieval castle and picturesque historic center stretching over the crystal-clear waters of the lake.

Day 5: Malcesine - Bussolengo

(approx. 55 km)

From Malcesine, you take the cable car to Monte Baldo at an altitude of 1,700 meters. From here, the route leads into the hinterland of Lake Garda, without touching the coast. Along the way, you can make a stop in Rivoli Veronese, the site of significant Napoleonic battles, explore the historic center, and visit the Church of San Giorgio, which overlooks the valley. The ride continues to Bussolengo.
