Frequently asked questions

Travel date, tour name, selected accommodation category if any, contact details of the general ledger including e-mail address and telephone number, first and last name and date of birth of the travel companions.

In addition, on the last page of the booking form,  you can inform us about any special needs that we should know when booking your trip, for example food allergies or your wish to have separate beds in the room. This way we can forward  in advance your wishes to the hotels.

On the booking confirmation you will find the  final price of the tour and the amount to pay as a deposit (20% of the total price). After receiving the deposit we start working to fix your reservation. The outstanding amount must be paid at last 4 weeks before the start of the tour. In case less than 4 weeks  are between booking and arrival dates the full invoice amount is  immediately due.

You can comfortably pay for your active holiday  by bank transfer or credit card (Visa/Mastercard).

Drinks, lunch, dinner, tourist tax, all extras and admissions not mentioned.

Yes, you can extend your trip in your point of departure and destination. We will gladly take care of the organisation and book additional nights. The prices for the extra  nights are indicated in each advertisement.

If you wish to shorten the trip we offer, please inform us at the time of booking. The night booked will then be deducted from the total price of the trip. If you cancel one night after the booking has been completed, any  cancellation fee charged bu the hotel will be transferred to the customer.

You are invited to indicate your favourite hotels on the travel registration form. In can we can satisfy your request we will be glad to do it, but this is not granted.
Are we able to take into consideration certain food preferences (e.g. vegetarian food)?
Yes, we can. Simply indicate this at the time of booking so that we can inform the accommodation; if necessary we will consult with you.

If you need to cancel your business trip, please let us know in a written form. In case of cancellation of your trip our general terms and conditions apply.

Equipped with maps, GPS data and everything you need, you can travel by your own either by bike or on foot. You are the only  “boss” , able to discover the country in an indipendent way. We take care of the organization of your trip: hotel reservation, map and tour description, luggage transport, bike rental and much more.

You only have a few days and want to use them for sport? Then our short holiday trips are made for you. Special offers include trips from three up to five days.

During a rally you explore the surroundings from one place. This avoids having to pack and unpack. Sometimes the programme includes transfers.

Hide secret advice. You don’t have to worry about anything and can simply enjoy your holiday.

We will be happy to send you the tracks when you confirm your booking, together with travel documents.

Unfortunately it is not possible to take your four-legged friend with you on all trips. We simply ask you to contact us and we will let you know as soon as possible. For this reason it is useful to know what kind of dog it is: what breed and how big or heavy is it?
By the way, some hotels charge extra for the overnight stay of a dog. These can vary from 5 to 30 euros per night and are paid directly at the hotel

Arrival and departure for all active holidays are at your own risk.

Depending on the route, various public or hotel car parks are available at the departure point. Please contact the first hotel to park your car there.

As a rule, you are expected to deliver your luggage by the hotel reception or to the designated delivery point by 09.00 a.m. (for detailed information please contact the respective reception desk).
If your baggage is not available at the due time its transport cannot be guaranteed. In this case, any additional costs (e.g. additional delivery by taxi) must be paid by you. Our luggage drivers will transport your luggage to the next hotel while you spend a relaxing day on your bike.
Your luggage will be delivered to the next hotel no later than 18.00.
There is a limit of 1 baggage with 20 kg per person.

Most of our tours have their own route signs. More detailed information can be found in the travel documents.

Our active tours take place outdoors. This is why on days like these, the motto is “get on your bike” or “put on your hiking boots” and go. With the right rain gear even a bad weather day can be well managed. If it doesn’t stop raining, on some stages there is the possibility of bridging the gap with public transport (not included!). If requested in good time (exceptions and emergencies) and in consultation with us, it is possible on some stages  to travel with the  luggage transport (possibly for a fee). Limited availability.

If you get stuck on the road, call our emergency hotline. The emergency hotline is available seven days a week,  from 8.00 am to 7.00 pm. This way you are not alone in an emergency. You will find the telephone number of the emergency hotline in your travel documents!

Return transfers from the final destination to the starting point can be booked as an option. A minibus will take you and your bike to the starting point.

A high-quality saddle bag (for bicycles): the waterproof universal bag can be adjusted to any size thanks to the wrap-around closure and can be closed watertight. The symmetrical back plate allows it to be mounted on the left or right.
One handlebar bag (per room): the waterproof handlebar bag is ideal for everything you want to have ready quickly. Practical details: removable map pocket and KlickFix holder. Repair kit and spare tube (per room)

Bike computer (for bicycle): easy to use, the most important data such as total distance, partial distance, current speed, average speed and time can be quickly retrieved.

Combined lock (per room)

There is no obligation to wear a helmet for adults. However, we recommend it for a safe journey. When booking your bike tour, bicycle helmets (limited number) can be rented on request and for a fee. In Italy and Austria helmets are mandatory for children under 12 years of age.

Your saddle can normally be fitted and adjusted without any problems if the seatposts are suitable. Please indicate this at the time of booking so that we can check it in advance.

Bicycles for hire are usually available at the first hotel. In some departure places you have the possibility to pick up your bikes directly from our bike rental shops. Please leave your bicycles locked with bicycle bags in the last hotel. For E-bikes, please put the charging station in the saddle bag and leave the key on the bike.

You normally get the rented bike in the late evening  on you arrival day. If you wish yo use teh bike also during extra days , this must be booked in advance  (an extra cost will be due).

Of course. But one should not underestimate the advantages of a rental bike:
the rental bike is technically up-to-date and is available at the hotel of arrival. You can also leave your rental bike at the hotel and you won’t have to worry about the return transport.

You will receive from us a high quality and technically perfect brand bike as a rental bike. If necessary, you will receive a repair kit including tools. In your travel documents you will also find the addresses of the workshops where small repairs can be carried out.
