Today, you will discover the Slovenian Karst in all its authentic charm. From Sežana, you will cycle through vineyards, forests and small stone villages, passing through Tomaj and Dutovlje before reaching Štanjel. This historic Karst village is one of the highlights of the trip. Take your time to stroll through its narrow lanes, visit Štanjel Castle and admire the distinctive Ferrari Garden.
The route then continues through the expansive Karst landscape towards Komen, passing small villages and vineyards before returning to Sežana.
Day 3: Sežana – Sistiana – Opicina ascent approx. 700 m / approx. 65 km
