Sustainability: Our actions and commitments

FunActive Tours has achieved Travelife Certified, a certification for tour operators that meet defined criteria in areas such as internal management, the environment, working conditions, human rights, supplier relations and customer information.

The certification was awarded following an independent third-party assessment and compliance with more than 200 criteria established by the Travelife standard.

Remote work
We offer several employees the opportunity to work from home, thereby reducing the need to commute between home and the office on remote-working days.

This working arrangement also provides greater flexibility in organising work.

Commuting
Several members of our team use public transport or bicycles to get to the office.

We encourage these forms of transport as alternatives to individual car use for commuting.

Waste separation
In our offices, we separate different types of waste, including paper, plastic and glass, in accordance with local waste collection requirements.

The aim is to encourage the correct disposal of materials and, wherever possible, reduce the amount of waste generated.

Digitalisation of travel documents
We have progressively digitalised various company processes. In particular, some travel documents that were previously provided in paper format are now available through our mobile app.

This allows us to reduce printing and paper consumption associated with travel documentation.

Walking and cycling holidays
A central part of our offer consists of walking and cycling itineraries.
During stages travelled on foot or by bicycle, travellers can explore the destination without relying on motorised transport to carry out the activity included in the itinerary.

When designing our trips, we also aim to highlight the landscape, the places visited and the local organisations and services found along the route.

Cooperation with local partners
To organise our trips, we work with accommodation providers, suppliers and partners based in the destinations covered by our itineraries.

These partnerships enable us to integrate local services and businesses into the travel experience.
Partner selection and management are also among the areas considered within the Travelife Certified process.

Our journey
Our work encompasses environmental, social and organisational aspects. Through the Travelife process, we monitor our practices and identify potential areas for improvement over time.
