Day 1: Arrival
Individual arrival at the hotel in Venice Mestre.
Day 2: Venice Mestre – Abano Terme
(approx. 40 km)
Your cycling journey begins in Mestre, from where you will gradually immerse yourself in the tranquility of the Venetian countryside. The first kilometers follow quiet country roads and canals, while the silhouette of the hills gradually becomes more pronounced on the horizon. Along the way, you will pass the university city of Padua before entering the thermal and hilly region. Here you will encounter the Euganean Hills Cycling Loop, which passes sites of great historical and scenic interest, such as Villa Draghi and Catajo Castle. Continuing south, you will reach the medieval town of Monselice with its famous Seven Churches route, leading up to the Jubilee Sanctuary. The final stretch winds through vineyards and the fragrant hillsides before descending to Abano Terme, a town known for wellness and thermal waters, and the final destination of the first stage.
Day 3: Abano Terme – Verona
(approx. 65 km)
Today’s stage begins in the heart of the Euganean Hills, just a short walk from the thermal center of Abano. Leaving the gentle hills behind, you will follow country roads toward Montegrotto Terme, where you will join the convenient cycle path along the Battaglia Canal. You will then follow the Canale Bisatto, passing small villages such as Cinto Euganeo and Vò Vecchia, until you reach the vicinity of Este, where we recommend a first stop: Este is a historic town with a beautiful castle and cafés perfect for a snack. The route continues toward Montagnana, one of Italy’s most beautiful walled towns, passing through small villages before entering the Val d’Alpone, known for its wine and Soave production. From San Bonifacio, you will take a train to Verona, the final destination of today’s stage.
Day 4: Verona, rest day or Velpolicella round tour
(approx. 50 km)
Today you have a choice: visit the romantic city of Verona, with its Arena and Juliet’s House, or take a circular bike tour through the Valpolicella region. Starting from the center of Verona, you will join the cycle path along the Adige River and, riding through the city parks, reach Arbizzano, the gateway to Valpolicella Classica, famous for the vineyards of the renowned Amarone. The tour then continues to Fumane, one of the most beautiful villages in the area. From Fumane, you will gently descend toward Pedemonte, cycling past dry-stone walls, olive groves, and vineyards until you reach Quinzano, a hilltop hamlet of Verona, where the landscape opens up with views of the city and Monte Baldo in the background. You will complete the loop by returning to the city along quiet secondary roads.
Day 5: Verona - Asolo
(approx. 65 km)
Today’s stage begins with a train ride from Verona to Vicenza. Once in Vicenza, you will follow the cycle path along the Tesina River to Marostica, famous for its living chess game held here every two years. From there, you will continue along quiet country roads lined with vineyards and olive groves until you reach Bassano del Grappa, where a grappa tasting is a must. From Bassano, you will begin the climb toward the Asolo Hills, a UNESCO World Heritage landscape, until you reach the medieval town of Asolo, the destination of today’s stage.
Day 6: Asolo – Conegliano
(approx. 60 km)
After breakfast, you will begin your ride through the Asolo Hills, enjoying spectacular views of Monte Grappa. You will then reach the Valdobbiadene region, famous for producing Prosecco Superiore DOCG. From there, you will continue cycling through towns such as Col San Martino and Farra di Soligo before arriving in Conegliano.
Day 7: Conegliano - Venice Mestre
(approx. 60-65 km)
The final stage begins with a train ride from Conegliano to Treviso. From Treviso, you will continue cycling to Musile along the Sile cycle path, following the course of the river of the same name. Passing through towns such as Quarto d’Altino, you will reach Jesolo, a popular seaside resort on the Adriatic coast. From Jesolo, you will ride toward Cavallino-Treporti, where you will take the ferry from Punta Sabbioni to Venice.
