Day 3: Bad Tölz – Schwaz/Jenbach oder Maurach

(approx. 68-77 km)

Also today you will follow the river Isar until you reach lake Sylvenstein. Cycling through the Karwendel nature park you pass the german-austrian border arriving to the holiday destination Achensee and its mountain lake „Achensee“. Go in for a boat trip on the lake before continuing your way down to the Inn valley and ending your stage in Maurach/Jenbach or Schwaz.

The demanding part from Innsbruck to the Brennero pass, border between Austria and Italy and at the same time watershed and cultural axis, will be done by transfer (train or bus). The journey brings you to Bolzano, the lively heart of South Tyrol, where Italian flair meets German tradition in a fascinating cultural mix. As you follow the scenic South Tyrolean Wine Road, you’ll pass through postcard-perfect villages like Gélas and ascend toward the Mendel Pass and Fiè allo Sciliar—where towering peaks and untouched nature create a dramatic backdrop to your ride. Day 8: Darfo Boario Terme – Bergamo

(approx. 80 - 85 km)

From Darfo Boario Terme, you ride toward the enchanting shores of Lake Iseo, where the calm, shimmering waters meet the surrounding mountains in a breathtaking panorama.
